I have all the Quest For Glory games on Steam but haven't put much time in any of them yet. I was always more of a King's Quest VI and LucasArts guy. I'd love to find another KQ VI CIB like I had in my early teens.

I've only played KQ5 and was annoyed that to get the best sound you needed Sound Blaster.  I only had an Adlib sound card back then which iirc cost as much as a pc engine console. Soundblaster was just too much money back in the day..

After months of waiting it turns up.  OSSC

Silent Hill 2 - Not shitty at all, and it's the best console version of the game to date

It's a great survival horror game, left you with a weird feeling days after! I wanted to buy the 3rd [for PS2] and get going on it some time. The 1st PS1 title hasn't aged well though, but I forced myself to beat it so I could play in order as the movies had motivated me to take these games off my backlog a few years ago. Well worth it! :)

P. S. #1 Wow, this thread has been decimated by Photobucket's sudden attempt at monetization/going-payware for image hosting services!! Dirt bag move... :/

P. S. #2 Oh right, I do have something to add: my Ys VIII Limited Edition box for the Windows PC version arrived on Sept. 16th unexpectedly via USPS. I just selected the free shipping option (5-day regular), but I got bumped up to 2-day Priority, probably cause NIS is feeling the heat with the delay for the Steam release, not because of any favors to me and what not. I ordered it on the 12th at 9pm, it arrived on the 16th at noon, so not bad!

But yeah, since this is digital Steam product, you just got a box of collectibles, art, cloth poster, OST, manual, etc. no pressed DVD, and they've delayed the Steam download for weeks and the GOG version to follow... Fine by me since they wanted more time to polish it for whatever reasons.

That PC box is neat, but it's too bad they don't go all out and give you the game on physical media too (DVD, BR, USB stick, whatever).
