It wasn't until literally like two days ago that I considered modding my system for SCART. At least I didn't spend 200~300 USD on a Kisado. 

Personally, composite on PCE is really good so I never went RGB/SCART on my consoles. I do happen to have an RX in my house that was modified tho for RGB, it is not mine but a friends that I keep at my place since he has no RGB CRTs...possession is 9/10th right?

As for Kisado's...back in the 90's it was the best damn converter. I should sell mine since I really have no need for it other than playing US Klax on PC Engines

Holy bejeebus. I would keep the Kisado, if anything for rarity's sake. The reason I am going to go SCART is because I have an OSSC. I can't wait to play Akumajo on the big screen!

I've always wondered what the CD Battle game is like.  Does it read data off audio CDs like the Monster Rancher games to create the battles?

I've always wondered what the CD Battle game is like.  Does it read data off audio CDs like the Monster Rancher games to create the battles?

It's similar but much more limited.  Each player inserts a CD to create a three person team, then you fight a turn based rpg style battle, and that's it.  As soon as one side wins the battle, you go back to the team creation screen and can try a new CD(s) and fight again.
