DUO CD door fix
« on: January 24, 2005, 11:30:56 AM »
I've noticed that the CD door on my Turbo Duo isn't the game. When I push the button to open it, the CD door just kind of instantly pops up about an inch instead of extending all the way up, so I have to use my hand to push it up. It's nothing really serious or anything, but it looks unsexy as hell. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? Maybe carefully put some WD-40 on a part of it or something?

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

It's not supposed to go "all the way up". It's just the design, another more serious problem is that Duo controllers don't fit tightly into the controller slot.

Your system's fine. Thats just the way the Duo works.

Its like the eject button on some cart systems, they unlock the cart, but the don't put it back in it's case for you.
