Some may need this. I thought of buying as it is a descent price but I have a region mod and would only be for collecting so I have to decline.

Just to let people know I ordered two PC-Engine titles from him and he is a really good seller!  That converter is going to go for a lot of money though.  Might as well just buy a PC-Engine.

that's an odd one; it looks like the hucard input is too wide.

Well it definitely doesn't look like my orange kisado converter I use.  It doesn't get wider at the end.

While the connector is wider, the extra space is filled in with a piece of plastic. These work pretty well, but I'd say the kisado works the best!

That's the same type of converter as the one that I have; I've never had any troubles with it.

True.  The connector was also originally double sided but not quite tall enough, so the bottom side has been filed down to make enough room for a HuCard.  This lack of suitable connectors explains why nobody has made new converters to cash in on their high demand.

I was looking arround recently on ebay and arround Japan (No, I'm not there but I have a firend that lived over there not to long ago and he would pick up stuff) and could not find one for under $70. It that the going rate? I'm talking about Core Grafx, not the orignal PCE w/o A/V.

I'm pretty sure one can find better deals than that in Japan.  Here are just a few going in JP Yahoo auctions, you can see for yourself once they end what the market value is over there.

granted, they'll likely go cheaper than what stores are charging, but why pay more?

A little late here, but that "strange converter" back there is called the "Mirai Converter." It was the last converter released, produced in 2003, and sold by TZD until 2005 or so.

I got one of those Mirai converters off eBay a couple of years ago for $53.00. It worked good, but since buying a Super Grafx its now only useful if I want to use my Arcade Card or Tennokoe Memory Bank on my Turbo Grafx or play PC Engine games on my Turbo Express.
