I have an FX, an FX-GA for PC-98, and a complete collection of games and peripherals, including all demo discs.

If you have an FX-GA for either PC-9801 or Win (or was it DOS?), can you play normal PC-FX games as well? Not going to get one, but curious.

While there are a couple discs which come with the GA which won't run on the PC-FX console, the primary purpose of the FX-GA is playing regular PC-FX games.

The most disappointing thing about the GA is how unintegrated it is with the PC. All it really uses the PC for is the CD-ROM drive. Other than that, it's pretty much an entire console that slides into your PCI slot. Power, controller, video output are all handled through ports on the GA directly - can't output on your PC monitor, use PC game controller, keyboard, etc.

That's a disappointment indeed. I thought you could use your PC monitor at least.
Still, pretty impressive they managed to cram an entire system on a card...

I've recently got one a few months ago. Like new, original owner in box, complete  I've wanted one since the 90's and now I own one finally. I own about 30 something original games. I try hard to wait out until I find ones complete with reg card and spine. No spine no deal. I want it like it was.I LOVE THAT machine.
