Cool Retro Arcade I Went To Late Last Month (Video)

Too bad it's almost a two hour drive away from me.

But it's an oceanside arcade right on the Atlantic, called "Flipper McCoy's"/

First I show y'all what games are there...

Well in one of our "Post our pics" threads I did post some pics of the place like last year-ish, but now I got the place on video.

Then I got some Ghouls N Ghosts and Gyruss gameplay.

Awesome. The lighting was a little odd (i think that's why you had trouble seeing- the glare from the fans in the arcade) but at least the machines work... last time I went to my local arcade, most of the machines didn't :(

That's really awesome. The arcades on the Las Vegas strip has only a few classics like Galaga, Joust, and Ms Pac-Man. The Luxor casino, Gameworks, and FAO schwartz are a few that come to mind, but nothing in the same leagues as the arcade you went to. I heard Vegas has some good arcades but they're off the Strip and I haven't bothered search for them. I am looking forward to going to The Las Vegas Pinball museum sometime this month. In my mind they're still classic arcade machines. http://www.pinballmuseum.org/

First, let me say that I can't wait to watch this video. But man, I would have thought Las Vegas would offer more in terms of arcades.  :-k We used to have several here, but now we're reduced to one, maybe two. ooPo may know if there's one still in the Halifax Shopping Centre, but the only arcade I know of is in Mic Mac Mall. That arcade is all right, but it is mostly those stupid dancing games and the like. They do have an Asteroids machine there though, as well as some decent pinball machines.

That's pretty badass

The only arcade near me (in the town i go to school) is very small and crummy

The one redeeming factor?  They have a Neo Geo cab with Blazing Star
Arms installation is complete....good luck
