1. All games are one or two players:  Wrong, Super Power League FX supports up to 8 controllers!

2. PC-FX games will warn you if you do not have enough save memory to make one save game on boot:  Wrong, Ruruli Ra Rura doesn't.

3. Most games save directly to the FX-BMP on installed: Wrong, only one game does save to the internal card (info comming from nat)

4. The FX can reset by pressing and holding select then start: For whatever reason, Last Imperianl Prince prefers you use the load option it comes with and locks out soft resetting the FX.

Agreed.  I think some goofs simply can't see the difference between digital comics, graphic adventures, and pr0n.  Sadly, these are the same chumps that talk about in-game boobies as if they're a bad thing.

Game title wise the Saturn was a far more hentai game console.  There are dozens of red and yellow label adult games.

Based on percentage of adult games compared to total library, 3DO, Laseractive, and even Playdia were far more "hentai systems".

Even the PC-Engine itself was a home to adult games at the time, though usually not as explicit.

Of course for the adult gamer the PC is the ultimate platform for hentai games with both sheer number AND percentage destroying the feeble number on the PC-FX.

PCE games less explicit?  They are unlicensed, but the Shiawase Usagi series, J-Thunder, and several others are WAY more explicit then anything you'll find on the FX.  Also the Yellow label Saturn games are a joke.  For example Pretty Fighter X has nothing that gives it the yellow label, I swear they just used it to sell more copies...

Also 1 more misconception:  The PC-FX is not a PC in anyway.  Its strictly a games console.  I've met so many that think its a full scale computer like the MSX.

Also 1 more misconception:  The PC-FX is not a PC in anyway.  Its strictly a games console.  I've met so many that think its a full scale computer like the MSX.

Necromancer's #3 was a bit off topic (and maybe I should delete it to avoid more confusion), but this one belongs in entirely a new topic.  I am talking about misconceptions about specific FX game titles, misconceptions about their functions.  It should be a very small list with people scratching their heads trying to find another game with a major unknown flaw.

Word on that-before I got my FX, I thought it was purely hentai.  Owning one I see that it's not necessarily true-I've got about 10 games so far, and none are hentai

Yeah, there were indeed some naughty unlicensed ones on the PCE...

And I will agree that some of the Yellow label games are really tame and should have been green (Cho Aniki, WTF?) but some of them were pretty racy.

Regardless, I think it stands that the PC-FX is not oozing with porn as much as has been previously reported.

It's your rodeo, but all three of your misconceptions are about the PC-FX's library and not about a specific title (other than noting the singular title that bucks the trend in the first two).  I don't see how the following is any less germane than the others:

here's a misconception I had: the switches on the FX controllers are turbo switches. they are not; they change the function of the upper 3 and lower 3 buttons, though many games use this only for turbo fire.

#1 is about Power League FX only
#2 is about RRR only
#3 is there because this page says the false version, and some fx games themselves as far as I know make this false claim.  If I ever find one game though that does do this, this line will be related to one game.

Please cite for me necromancer where on this pcenginefx website that says most or all FX games have above 18 ratings (what you are saying by dancing around it).  Because on the one with 18+ on them should be expected to have boobies.  A hentai game does not mean you will get nudity either.  I might just have sexually suggestive themes or clothing.  Because I am clearing up a massive missconception about the ram and how games specifically save to it.
