Pole Position was always too hard for me! I think I preferred Spy Hunter but I was so young I never got good at either of them.Never really got good at either one...And I never knew about that Pole Position cartoon!!

It was Transformers before there were Transformers.
Come on, Final Lap Twin is a great game! An RPG racing game! Yes, it's primative. Yes it's dated. But the Racing RPG aspect is a unique twist!
Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I have Spy Hunter on the GBA (a double game cartridge with Super Sprint) and I can't even make it to where you change into a boat.

I've been playing Spy Hunter on MAME the last couple days trying to get good at it! I found that you can actually ram those blue cars with the wheel blades, if you hit their front bumper with your rear bumper...And as far as the arcade version goes, I don't think you can beat it... I haven't made it to any boat part yet but I did manage to set the high score today!

That kid's dad (in rpg mode) is awesome. I wish I got several hundred dollars everytime I walked through the door!
