Unfortunately things crumbled for me at the last minute and couldn't make it :( :( :( . The person I had coming with me to help with directions backed out and I became exhausted from spending the night digging my fat dog out from underneath a gazebo, as crazy as that sounds. Really, really was hoping to make it this year. Sorry to anyone who was depending on me for something (DHG for setting up my PCE, Nectarsis for buying his SNES, Guyjin for a game of Shadowrun). I will make sure no such things get in the way next year.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Yeah, Turbo meetup was a bust.  I dropped by at 3:00 but nobody was there.  Bummer!  Still, I made out like a bandit this year...

Master system:
Phantasy Star (Minty, complete)
Golvellius (Minty, complete)
Zillion (Minty, complete)

Genesis:
Toe Jam & Earl (Minty, complete)
Sonic 3 (Complete)
Six button controller (original, official version)
Rocket Knight Adventure (cart only)

Saturn:
Christmas NiGHTS
Virtua Racing (New, sealed)
Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition

NES:
Power Pad (boxed)
Solar Jetman (with sleeve and instructions)

3DO:
Foes of Ali (New, sealed)
Crash N Burn

Turbo:
Dragon's Curse case+instructions (to go with my loose card)

N64:
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron

Freebies:
Saturn ST ProPad (New)
Famicom "Nintendo History" keychain (this is pretty sweet)
Killzone 2 shirt
Feet of Fury (Dreamcast)

Total cost to me... $130.

Edit: Forgot some stuff.  And Marty was going to talk about some special edition Rock Band or Guitar Hero guitar or whatever... I left right as he was about to go on.

The Turbo wasn't set up until the second day because the AC port on the back of the system was loose, but luckily with Ben Heck there with his group, they were able to find someone with the screw driver head late Saturday and fix it up good as new.  As for why the PC Engine wasn't there... Well, you know that story already. ;)

Later.

Sounds like a lackluster turnout compared to years past.

Maybe from the Turbo community a bit, but actually the turn out for the show beat last year's numbers handily.  Next year we're moving to a larger facility...   :-"

Yay, can we get a place with a separate room for the speakers instead of having them in the hallway?

We were thinking the parking lot next year...

Marty was on hand, btw, talking about the Gene Simmons' Guitar controller they helped design, 2600-style PC joysticks, and a portable Atari Flashback console I believe.

Later.
