Final Zone II.......46 (sealed)Time to another chronological depression leading to the spatial expansion to the future of Turbo hope on the countdown. Lately, I've slowed down a bit clocking at the speed of one game per week ever since I caught that nasty cold bug.
Well. enough with that, now is when I rev my engine, ignite the turbo boosters....not into high gear, but EXTREME gear!
To make up for precious I'm doing a countdown once a day everyday until I've caught up. So, let's not waste anymore chronos particles and move through the 4th dimension via the 5th with today's entry: Final Zone II.
Yes people. It's sealed, I'm sad to say.
Why? Well, it looks like a friggin' good game. Problem is I don't want to open it, it's that I can't. To give you a better understanding of what I'm talking about. Let's kick into reverse and turn back the clock to the day I started on my Turbo travels. Three reasons behind that initial point: 1) Want to have the biggest Turbo e-penis
[/sarcasm] 2) Want to try out every game this great, underrated system had to offer and 3) it's a nice investment when I sell it. Face it, what good are video games when you kicked the bucket unless you're a reincarnated Egyptian pharaoh. Eventually, we all have to....let it go at some point.
Difference is I'm going to sell it before my meeting with the immortal specter.
Now I know what you're thinking and that's short term. My plan is LONG term. The few grand spend today could going for $50,000, $100,000, or even a MILLION ,decades from now. That kind of money could pay for my children/grandchildren's college tuition (pending inflation). Retro video games (especially the sealed and/or rare variety) have appreciated in price within the last few years, so it's not too far-fetched to believe this startling trend to continue on. Sealed stuff has fetched for astronomical amounts (sealed Chrono Trigger sold for least a GRAND) compared to the complete opened items. Let me ensure you, my goal is not get everything sealed. It's having a complete US Boxed Turbo collection netting me the biggest e-penis in the world. [/sarcasm] Seriously, I don't buy these unless the price is right and usually is the case. Final Zone II cost me $15 (a steal compared to Ebay
). My goal is get every game and have the most fun I can get with them. That's what makes collecting video games fun.
BTW, I want to thank everyone for all your birthday comments. You guys always make me feel welcome.
