Oh all these covers, all the missed opportunities.  :cry:

I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring with Splatterhouse 2. Made from scans of the PAL Splatterhouse 2 for megadrive and Dragon Spirit, I thought I was finished when I started looking for the japanese text to pop on and what did I find? Oh look the japanese version is called 'part 2' not just '2' back to google, only image I could find of the japanese MD version was a little blurry thumbnail which is where I got the 'part 2' from, the 'Splatterhouse' part is just from the PAL MD back cover.

Ha ha and it's even from Namcot.  I wish all companies pulled that same crap.  We'd have Konamit, Segat, Nintendot, Naxatt and Vic Tokait.  Ahh, Namcot, you so smart!

Namco had two development divisions

Namco = arcade

Namcot = Home consoles

Oh how I would kill to hear this game's soundtrack on PCE Gradius/Salamander's sound format.

Ninja Spirit, I know, but I don't recall seeing Namcot on anything other than Mega Drive games.

It's on at least some of their PC Engine games as well.

Not just some, all of them.
Famicom and Super Famicom too. IIRC correctly I think they dropped that when PS1 rolled around.

Can I use this for my Aliens arcade conversion to the PCE?

This one would work well for my Bubble Bobble conversion :)
