pcefreak, what's that Valis III CD+G you have? Is that just that CD that came out to let you view all the cinemas in Valis?

CD+G was also part of the Turbo Grafx 16 propaganda back in the day.  Valis III CD+G has some arranged Valis sountrack that can only be found in this version mixed with Valis graphics.

Valis III CD+G

Catalogue Number   TONS-1001
Publisher   Toshiba-EMI
Composition   Minoru Yuasa, Michiko Naruke & Taakaharu Umezu
First Printing   April 12, 1991
Price   ¥2800

01 Prelude of Valis
02 Opening Theme
03 1st Trap
04 2nd Trap
05 Valis Sword!
06 Call to Three Warriors
07 The Battle of Valis Part 1
08 4th Trap
09 Requiem
10 Access
11 The Battle of Valis Part 2
12 The Battle of Valis Part 3
13 The Battle of Valis Part 4
14 Variations on the Theme of Valis
15 Visions of Valis  IV
16 Ending Theme
17 Theme of Valis for Orchestra

It is quite rare as opposed to Valis Visual Collection.

I know what CD+Gs are (I really want to try one!), but I had no idea that Valis III had it's own special CD+G! That's so badass, I would love to have that myself. I am assuming it's rare and expensive though.

Oh crap, this is too awesome.  Is there a more common, non CD+G version of this soundtrack?

More importantly, were there any other CD+G PCE soundtracks?  My hunch is that there were... although there might have been limited press runs of the CD+G versions...

Any info would be greatly apprciated!!!!

I am not aware of another version of this soundtrack.
To my knowledge, they did not release any other PC Engine related CD+Gs.

Well, my hunch couldn't have been more off-target!  This certainly makes Valis CD+G an intriguing item! Thanks for sharing info & pics of it :).

bwt, Dead Moon kicks ass.
better than Soldier Blade IMO.
It's my favorite turbochip shooter so far (haven't played areo blasters yet).  i've always enjoyed horizontal shooters more than vertical ones and the graphics are superb.

Yeah, I was searching for Magical Chase and snagged the last one from Traders 2.   They probably put out another "last copy" soon after I left.

Probably paid $600-$700 for all that.  Although a good chunk of change, the price per game is reasonable.  Of course Magical Chase messed up the average. :p

Oh, this list from my trip to Tokyo in 2004 is probably more interesting.  Don't even ask how much this all cost!

Adventure Capcom World Hatena no Bouken
Arunamu no Kiba
Battle Lode Runner
Bazaaru de Gozaaru no Game de Gozaaru
Bubblegum Crash
CD Battle Hikari no Yuusha-tachi
Denno Tenshi Digital Angel
Fausette Amour
Galaxy Deka Gayvan
Galaxy Fraulein Yuna
Galaxy Fraulein Yuna (w/HuVideo CD)
Go! Go! Birdie Chance
Hi-Leg Fantasy
Horror Story
Image Fight II
IQ Panic
Jigoku Meguri
Kisou Louga
Langrisser
Macross 2036
Macross Eien no Love Song
Metal Angel 2
Mirai Shonen Conan
Niko Niko Pun
Rainbow Islands
Ruin
Side Arms Special
Soldier Blade
Startling Odyssey
Strip Fighter II
Tenchi Muyou Ryou Oh Ki
Tenshi no Uta II
The TV Show
Wrestle Angels Double Impact
Xak Gaiden Fray CD
