TGCD/PCECD parts needed

So... Does anybody have any spare or broken TGCD/PCECD drives they can sell or spare?

Looking for a unit that still has the laser sled gears intact...

YOUR IN LUCK! I just got on here to post that I have a TG-CD with a torn ribbon up for sale or trade! Everything is working on it except the fact that the ribbon was ripped....Damn ribbons 

Neways so it would be coming from texas....Im sure shipping would be no more than like $2. I also have a spare case laying around but its not an original turbografx-cd case...Its the NEC CDR-35D case with everything but the laser in it....This is the unit I took the laser out of to replace the one with the torn ribbon. Unfortunatly the board will not work with a TG unless someone could figure out how to flash it to work (which Im sure is virtually impossible). Well the case is white not black so if you are interested in that I got it too!

Sounds like you're already set, but I've got two spare PCE CD drives I'm about to list right now.

Thanks for the offers, but I was already able to obtain a busted unit with the gear in good condition.

I replaced the sled gear and even attempted to replace the laser(3 lasers) and the unit is still not functioning. 

Seems like I just need to toss this one and buy another 


Once I come into more cash I'll hit someone up.
