Now that's a valuable tonic!

Talk about being beside yourself!

Two heads are better than one, but five is...well...let's not go there. :)

Exile is another easy game to mess with. :)

Heh.  I'd be afraid to hack this one, since it's already way too easy to complete anyway.

Well with that in mind, I've created what I like to call "Exile Hardtype". Download this file for Magic Engine:

http://www.nodtveidt.net/exile-hardtype.zip

It's an .me4 file, so it will load as the fourth savestate in Magic Engine. It starts out right at the beginning of the game, right after Rumi joins you. It puts you at experience level 18, which is normally impossible to attain. Now this might sound like it's going to give you some kickass bonuses...but nope...all the stats are held in a table inside the game code, and for this level, there ARE no stats...you're on your own in terms of AP, AC, HP, and MP...in other words, ZERO of each. Your weapon is your AP. Your AC is meaningless because if you get hit once, no matter how weak the enemy and no matter how high your AC is, you're dead anyways. You gain a level once you kill your first enemy, but it just brings you to level 19 with no bonuses and a "next level" of 32767...nothing else changes.

Now...Exile might be challenging. :D

I can get to the third boss but I've yet to actually beat him. I can imagine Garuda and especially Backos will be damn near impossible to beat this way, especially with zero magic ability...
