yeah not bad, I got mine for under $10 sealed not that long ago, but looks like more have sold. At the moment, that is a good deal if you don't own the game.

That's a great deal. I bought it when it first came out at msrp. If I had only waited 15 years I could have paid a lot less.

Not recently...CF2, Riot Zone, Buster Bros., Shadow of the Beast (and to a lesser degree Exile) have had "stashs found" for awhile now.   They tend to get listed in clusters of 3-4+ seperate auctions/BIN's regularly.

Ebay has been flooded with sealed copies of CF2 and Exile for the last two years.  Game Quest Direct started selling the stock they bought from Working Designs around the same time several European sellers started selling stock (possibly from Telegames US) at rock-bottom prices.   The first European sellers were letting games go for as little as $2 and were quickly bought out by resellers hoping to get rich quick.  Some, like SimpleSamson, went with a fairly tolerable markup, others like RedFrog, charged $40.  Fortunately, there seem to be unlimited copies of CF2 and Exile floating around and the initially inflated prices for those two have been falling ever since.  At this point it's probably not going to get any cheaper and it's a good deal if you don't own the game, but sealed copies are certainly never going to be a collector's item (thank god).

Very good deal indeed. I got mine sealed for 5.99 about a month ago.

The game is good, but man that loading time is crazy long.

Vestcoat you talked me into it. I pulled the trigger on one of the above Cosmic Fantasy 2's.

Cosmic Fantasy 2 might not be everyone's cup of tea due to a few flaws and some patience required, but the story and the way it's depicted was really ahead of it's time.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I bought mine direct from working designs, but I never could get into the game, the graphics and feel of the game were not so impressive to me, but I did like the music and the character designs.

As has been said, that's not a bad price.  If you want to get one even cheaper, wait a while for a reseller to auction one off with a starting price at $0.99 or $1.99 (as they occasionally do).

Exile is also cheap and in steady supply. Both are great games and a great deal. Exile also has less of the issues that Keranu mentioned.
