Clear # 26:

Spriggan (Normal) - It's a great game, but I'm going to up the difficulty because I found it a little too easy. This was really my first run-through of the game. I'd like to 1cc, if not 1lc this game. Anyway, difficulty aside, it's a great game with a fantastic power-up system.

haha. But I already cleared it! Don't distract me from my mission!!

....but it is REALLY tempting... heh

Maybe I could just play a couple easy games on the side while I tackle AB all over again. I love that shootie and there's a TON of nostalgia in it for me.

Cleared Aero Blasters today. First time since BITD. Just like riding a bike, but I ended up using four of my five continues. The trick to the last stage is the power/flash bomb - VERY useful when going through the moving walls and destroying the missiles, as well as when fighting the final boss.

Well, to be fair, I only had a handful of games BITD and this and R-Type I played over and over and over and over again. hehe

Clear # 27: Salamander - Expert Mode

I did notice that the difficulty notches up even more the 2nd time around. Anyway, fantastic shootie. I was late to the camera and missed the graphic of the ship escaping the planet, but I did manage a jaw dropping capture of the credits!

I cleared this one on NES 10-15 years ago, first time clearing the PC Engine version! Now I can go after Gradius II guilt-free!!!
