I have yet to really play that game, on any platform.

I found the game quite frustrating at first with some of the earlier levels seeming more difficult to work out than the later ones, especially completing the roof part of stage 3 without loosing any life.

I want to know what Gogan is pointing at! Also, it's a damn shame there wasn't a second loop of Legendary Axe where we get to play as Flare and rescue Gogan.

That would have been a nice touch to the game with maybe some areas / platform that only Flare could get to

Hell yes. Flare would have had better (higher) jumping but weaker offensive abilities: thus making the game challenging with a distinct new flavor.

We can dream.
