I just cleared Doraemon Nobita No Dorabian Night (hucard version).

And now I just cleared the CD version. Not much difference except for some cinemas and minor changes in the backgrounds.

iam halfway through Popful Mail at the moment.

then afterwards there are only Legend of Xanadu I, Auleria, Exile 1 and 2, Alnam no Kiba, KO Seiki Beast left. the last two are not that impressive, but i will clear those others for sure. then i will be through my whole PCE RPG collection. *g*

need to buy some new stuff when iam in japan this august for 3 weeks.

popful mail was awesome. nice graphics, nice gameplay, cool anime videos and a nice ost.
not too hard but not too easy, only some bosses were hard. very funny to play and gameplay mechanics are not too difficult to understand.
fighting is ys-style bump into enemies. it is possible to switch between 3 characters anytime in the game (the characters are: mail, female swordsfighter; tatto: magician, gaw: dragon).

i would rate it 8.0/10.0

i can give you all the advice: dont let the language barrier hinder you from playing japanese rpgs. they are pretty much fun.

It's some thing you will able to clear it.When i bought the game years ago i was put off by the fact it plays like Ys.I guess it came down to the fact that i was spoiled by the sega-cd version,which i consider the definite version.Maybe i need to rethink that and 'try again to play the pce version all the way through.
