Nat - I wasn't aware that a 3 day bump was violation of policy. I checked the "sales and thread rules" and saw no mention or referring to "bumping threads." Perhaps this should be updated if this was the case. I know I probably violated this rule at some point since I thought every 3 days was acceptable and most sites don't want people daily bumping stuff.

It's not an obey-or-be-banned type of situation, it's more an "unwritten rule" that is just common courtesy. If everyone bumped their for-sale threads every three days or more, the poor folks who use "Show unread posts since last visit" would have a real mess on their hands. Nobody wants to wade through pages and pages of "Bump        " to get to the actual discussions here.

That said, I'll talk with Aaron about adding it to the official rules if that makes everyone feel better.
