Blockbuster video game rental prices
« on: April 06, 2009, 01:40:51 PM »
OK... the last time I visited friends we decided to rent a couple games for his xbox 360.... they cost like 9 bucks each!!!! What's that all about???

It used to be 4-5 bucks to rent games!

If the price of games had gone up I would understand, but the price of new games has gone down, if anything!!!

I haven't been to a Blockbuster in many years.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I tried dumpster diving once (from office depot); you'd be surprised at the good shit they throw away. I once scored pc games, a mouse, and computer paper. lol. It was a looong time ago though. The pc games were on floppy disk!

A local Otaku shop owner once got a tip off and raided EA's dumpster and found Snatcher PCE, Shining Force MD, Landstalker MD and other PCE & MD games (most of which I bought).
