City Hunter

This game looks pretty darn interesting. What a pity it's in a lingo only foreign people speak. Is there an English translation of this game like Wonderboy? And if not, is it possible to guess your way through it without taking forever and a day?

Yes, it's very easy to get through, and it's very short (a mere four areas).

It's pretty fun and it has good music, as you'd expect from a SunSoft title.

On one hand it's a complete waste of a brilliant license. On the other, it's a fairly fun little game with some great music (especially level one and the boss music). It might take some time to bluff through it, but it isn't that hard.

Because Batman was a GREAT use of that license. I mean, it's a fun little game, but there's nothing about that game that needs Batman to sell it, or really much to link the gameplay to Batman.

I beat it right after I got my copy out of the mail

then later on in the day, beating it a second time, got it out on youtube right before bed

I have to admit, I did use passwords and redo the stages so I wouldn't choke up and get lost during the recording.

But yeah there is an English patch out for it. Don't know where it is though. I did see the ending on VGMuseum.com, which demands all submissions must be from English ROMs
