I paid $130 + $65 shipping for my Duo-R, from hit-japan (last summer). I know it doesn't cost $65 to ship from Japan, but it was the cheapest total cost I could find at the time.I see RisingStuff sells it for $189. I can't find the boxed one you mentioned, only these two for $199 boxed and $189 loose:https://www.risingstuff.com/store/pcengine-duor-loose-p-2098.html?osCsid=79hejfjvm7mdjqvk38bj2p6gn3https://www.risingstuff.com/store/pcengine-duor-boxed-p-2097.html?osCsid=79hejfjvm7mdjqvk38bj2p6gn3I will say that RisingStuff's shipping costs will be MUCH more reasonable, so it may almost balance out. Hard to beat $199 boxed.
Here's the link to the boxed Duo-R

Sounds like the biggest problem is that your running out of patience and everyone here knows how that feels. Lets be realistic about this. How cheap can you really get a 3.0 card? I happen to find one at a store for $59. I think we all know that your not going to pay less than $100 if your solely searching on eBay. Personally I would say that for the price you are going to pay for the super silly card, you might as well upgrade.
Yeah, but I always wanted a Turbo Duo or a PC Engine Duo. I know I'll own one or the other at some point in the near future. How much is modding usually anyway?
