WTB:Desperately looking for a TG-16 cd unit by itself/mine's dead.

Hello all. So I had recently taken my TG-16 cd unit to get fixed and it worked for a week, Im afraid it has had its very last breath and is shot to hell. So now im in desperate need of the cd unit by itself preferably or w/the docking station(I dont need the docking station but if thats the only way someone on will sell it is w/it than I will buy.) Anyways, if anybody has, knows someone who has(and is willing to sell)or where I can get one(online somewhere other than ebay)that's willing to sell a working cd unit for the turbo grafx 16 I would be forever greatful. Mine died just today and it truly is beyond repair im afraid unless someone has extremely good saudering skills and spare wire i can explain whats broken than maybe it can be fixed. Please let me know thanks. I am willing to work out some trades too, or buy it outright or maybe even both.

Ha ha hell yes, guess my Turbo just refuses to die(thank god for that). I found an easy solution and fixed the cd uniot. I realised that my alarm clock had a long peice of wire(the antenae)exactly like the ground cable that continuosly came undone(unsoldered)because there was no slack. Well I cut the wire from my radio and soldered a peice from the board(the spot that sends electric current to make the cd spin)on to the bottom plate cleaned my laser and wahlah, blamo presto,working like new, f*ck yes, again i can enjoy cd games. Now i just hope this is the last f'ing time it needs fixing.

So basically I no longer need a cd unit, thats what i meant to say, however I will still purchase one for a backup(just in case cause you never know right)if anyone is selling or knows who is or where to get one. Thanks.
