What's it worth?
« on: May 14, 2009, 05:37:57 AM »
Hey guys! I stumbled across a factory sealed copy of Lords Of Thunder for $35 at my local retro game store. Out of curiosity how much do you think it's actually worth?

Factory sealed copies were readily available for $30 until about last year.  $35 sounds fair these days.

$35 sounds like a reasonable price, though it's near priceless in terms of sheer awesomeness.

I am getting my Super System Card 3.0 sometime next week so I'll be able to confirm that statement  Although I am sure you won't be wrong.

You couldnt make a better choice there Mathius, i think $35 for one thats sealed is quite the deal to be honest especially in todays current market what with resellers and all marking prices up by as much as 300-400% especially for saled games. Plus the Duo version is better than Sega cd version as it doesnt seem to suffer from slowdown/loadtimes. The only downside is that it doesnt have the bit of voicework/sound effects that was left out of US release(on the Duo)but than left in for the Sega cd version.  :-k

I actually have a Sega CD but after reading reviews on that version of LOT there is only one choice. Plus the Duo versions soundtrack is significantly clearer on the Duo.
