Any actually ever BUY anything from Bulleye?
« on: May 24, 2005, 10:00:40 AM »
I mean, the dude has billions of listing up and his prices are nutty.  $379 for a boxed DuoR?????  And his boxed Turbo Duo prices are insane:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8169874438&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores

$407 and it doesn't seem to include the bag for the system or accessories.  Manual?  Packins?
Check my site for Turbo, Neo, NGPC, and superguns!

never saw this fellow before, but here are some additional observations:
1. he really overdoes the font size / font color / capitalization in his listings.
every few words he changes the font size and sometimes the font color for no apparent reason (a misguided attempt at "emphasis" perhaps?)
2. a recent auction (ended) for a "MINT & COMPLETE" Bonk's Revenge had a case in poor condition, but the "label" on the HuCard was "mint"
3. at least he's *only* charging $185 for Beyond Shadowgate, but no map is included.  As a consolation, he is offering a bonus audio CD with music from prior SG titles.
4. this seller... how did he mangage to sell 2400+ items?

The Vintage game guy seems to be priced Higher. I bought from him though, games were as stated, prices were good, good communication. But havent bought anything since. But I would buy from him again....just not his Complete copy of Bonk 3 or Magical Chase.

This auction is a joke. In addition, I'm not even sure it follows ebay's rules...this may very well be an illegal auction since it's nothing more than a snare to another site (even though it's an ebay store, it's still not a legitimate auction because of his text). This auction should be reported to ebay as a potential violation of policy...as this could be considered a "signpost" auction, which is not allowed. On top of that, it's grossly overpriced.

I always liked how he tosses every system name into the auction title, and considers the Keith comic a rare item......

I may end up ordering off of that guy though because he is one of the few people selling Atari Jaguar CD Systems.....don't really know why I want one...no good games for it. But, collectors are suckers I guess :)

Also, with the exception of his Systems in his Turbo section all the game prices have gone down. New Adventure Island Complete used to be a bit higher, if I am remembering correctly, don't spend much time in his store.

No need to justify the Jag CD purchase!  I myself have yet to play most of the Jag, let alone Jag CD, library.  I'll eventually get a Jag CD.

I've purchased from him a couple of times.  He's ok.  However, if you ever have a question, don't expect him to answer your emails.  Plus, as I recall, shipping takes forever.  At least it did when I bought from him.  Other than that, the items were exactly as described.
Games I Need: Bonk 3 (HuCard), Legend of Hero Tonma, Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, Super Air Zonk.

Got one to sell? PM me!

I've purchased one game from him.  I don't plan to do it again.  Not only does he misrepresent the quality of the items (e.g.  described the game as mint and it clearly was not when it arrived), but he does not respond to emails *at all*.  Additionally, it took him a *week and a half* to ship the item to me from *within the same state*.

I'd also be afraid of the fact that he almost always leaves negative feedback out of spite, when someone leaves negative feedback to him.  E.g., it appears that a buyer will pay promptly and do all of the things that a good buyer does, only to get an item that's in poor condition or is missing altogether, and leave negative feedback because Bullseye won't respond.  As a response, Bullseye seems to leave negative feedback instead of attempting to correct the problem with the buyer.

I got a Jaguar CD around 6 years ago from VGLQ back when they weren't treasued by the growing number of retro collectors since the Jaguar was Atari's last console. I paid like 50.00 for it with 6 games. I admittedly haven't played it in years.

THIS SELLER RAISES MY HAIR!!!

Allthough i haven't much left.  :D

I bought 2 items from this seller and they never arrived.
Lucky for me i got my money allready back from paypal of 1 item and the following item i should be able to recover from my credit card company.
He never answered my mails but i did got a mail from him saying to don't forget to give feedback :!:  :?:

I don't know how he get away with this but i just gave him bad feedback!
But i think the feedback system isn't that good as many are afraid to get bad feedback in return for that, so some won't give feedback. :?

I got a 100% feedback score right now but after that incident i can expect bad feedback in return AND IT'S UNFAIR!

REALLY frustrating when sellers can leave feedback out of spite. Had the same thing happen to me. It was Neutral, but it still messed up my 100% rating. buyers can do NOTHING on ebay.

Here's a perfect example.  Bullseye didn't waste any time giving you negative feedback.  One must wonder why it's so hard for him to check his email if he's so prompt about leaving negative feedback.  It's amazing, because it's so hard to get him to leave positive feedback at all.

RCduck7 - Sorry about the luck on this one.  :(

I hope that people stop buying from this Bullseye asshat.  I can't tell you how many times I've clicked on an item in Ebay, all excited about possibly bidding on it, only to see the seller and say to myself: "Oh shit.  It's Bullseye."  I've seriously considered starting a web page called "Don't buy from Bullseye".  Ugh.  This seller disgusts me.
