(And others... http://elsallia.com/time-capsule/lfd2003/)

(If anyone's wondering, the above is actually an april fool's joke, a great one too, it was rereleased later with a more accurate and professional translation :) )

<DREAM MODE>
I know that this is almost impossible, but let's dream: I would LOVE to see a version of the Sherlock Holmes games with translated audios or at least with English subtitles  =P~

Why? Because in the Sherlock Holmes games (like in the Sherlock Holmes books) it is very important to catch every fineness of every sentence, and people who don't speak English (like me) have a very hard time trying to understand the dialogs.

So, I would love a translation of the audios... or a version of the games with English subtitles (many people have problems when listening, but no problem when reading English). Well, now let's wake up.
</END DREAM MODE>

Surely you jest - Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective Vols. I and II are in English.  In fact, they appeared on the TG-16 before they were released on the PCE.

I didn't explain it well: I know that the Sherlock Holmes games are in English... but I don't understand those English audios well, because I DON'T speak English! In fact, my proposals were:

1) Make the game with English subtitles, because people that don't speak English (like me) many times can understand it when we read it (but not when we listen to it).

2) Or maybe, doing an Spanish translation (my native language).

I know that both proposals are almost impossible, but... dreaming is free.

 Sherlock Holmes uses uncompressed video. You can (somewhat) easily draw on to those frames. It still would be a huge project though.

Wow, that's interesting! So maybe inserting subtitles is not totally impossible... :)

After reading a review by The Brothers Duomazov, I am now greatly interested in 3x3 Eyes; it looks like an incredible digital comic, and I have a love for horror stories. :)

I have read that review too, and it seems to be an incredible game indeed. Yes, it would be nice to see it translated too  :)

I saw the ending for City Hunter on VGmuseum, which mandates all submissions be from English roms..

I googled and googled for the patch extensively and it's like drawing blood from a rock. obviously they got something to hide...

Arrr, I'd love to see a proper english version of City Hunter! As long as it was translated by someone who knows the source material.

For right now it'll probably be me translating it.  I do plan on checking out the series and reading up on it (it seems pretty interesting).  I also plan on finding someone else to help with the translation who knows more hopefully.  If you wouldn't mind though, could I hit you up to review the script and such when the time comes?

Sure, no problem. I've been a City Hunter fan for ages and have all the Japanese volumes and the few that were translated as well as a few of the subtitled anime sets. When you translate, make sure you keep the word 'Mokkori' in (unlike the english dubs af the anime).

Yeah, but just imagine if the game had the content of the manga:

Is there a pun in there that I wouldn't understand or is there a meaning to "PCP Angel Dust"?

I doubt if any drug references would have got by the censorship monkey in the US.
