Wow, this thread has been around for over six months and is still being posted in. For me, that's gotta be a record.

Anyone remember a while back how Ziria was being translated? Does anyone know what's happening with that project?

EsperKnight is working on it still, haven't asked him lately how the progress is going.  I believe he is also helping in some compacity with Startling Odyssey 2.

TMZ is still in the works.  The translator I'm working with those is a bit busy right now so it'll be slow going  (I also need to redump it in a better format for him :) and also I've been busy with RL myself but slowly getting back into things).  For SO2 I've created a VWF for it with a new font which sadly breaks on the real deal :(

How about a Joust-based platformer/RPG? Just play a PCE RPG like Ys or MS or FEOE for a while and you'll see where I'm coming from...

It's good to hear that the Dead of the Brain Translation is still going. I've been awaiting that one for years.

I wonder what progress Ziria has made in the past year? As a huge fan of RPGs, that's one of the projects that I'm wondering the most about.

Since it's been over a year, let's have a check-in! If you're working on a PCE translation, please post here and let us know how things are going!

I don't know why this idea for a new game concept was posted in a thread about translating games, but Nate must be some kind of idiot savant because that is a f*cking GENIUS idea!

If only if rom hackers gave the pc engine the same love as they did for the snes... Anyway, Cosmic Fantasy 3 and 4, Dragon Knight series (I know they are hentai games but still ><), Wizardry remakes (shouldn't be too hard most of it is in english anyway), Macross Ein No Love song and Dragon Slayer 2 to name a few.
