The reason I'm wanting a list to be put together is quite frankly because this community has a tendency to be a bit harsh to new users trying to buy or sell things. And with a reasonably up to date guide as a point of reference to point new users to we can avoid hall of shame like incidents from occurring.

What makes you think a price list would make any difference?  People coming here to pimp ebay sales or offer us 'sweet deals' can't be bothered to look for a price list (this thread is over two years old and yet the gougers keep popping up), and they're often asking for a premium on the price lists they do know of (racketboy/digitpress/eBay) anyway.
U.S. Collection: 98% complete    157/161 titles

It might not make a difference in most cases, but it at least gives us an up to date guide to point users at rather than  having them curse people out and complain we have no point of reference for complaining about gouging.

DMDan does have a point. I don't see the harm in creating an anti-gouging reference guide.

Title (Region)     FAIR PRICE (CIB, Loose)     PROFITEERING SCUMBAG PRICE (CIB, Loose)
Magical Chase (NA)     $80-120, $20-40$140, $50

Doesn't mean squirt.

I appreciate what you guys are trying to do, but those prices are pipe dreams, so why bother.
You have to be a scumbag to sell a CIB Magical Chase for $140? Let's get real here.

The prices I put in there were for comedic effect :). It was safer to do that than to try to determine a fair price all by myself, since I would like to form a loose consensus on what was "fair".

Any subjective price is a fair price, but who would sell their copy of USA magical chase for that pathetic price.
No one!

I'd sell mine for what I bought it for-- $165.

Oh, wait, already did that. And then the scumbag threw it up on eBay a few months later for like $700.

I would sell it for cheap if i got my hands on another copy... cause gaming for me has always been about the playing, collecting and the people, its my happy spot and the day you start seeing big dollar signs in front of it its time to get the f@ck out.

Ouch.  May I ask to whom you sold it?

F*ck no. When did this happen? I suppose I wouldn't have had enough cash at the time you were selling this, nat, but F*CK.

And I use f*ck sparingly.

It was a former member here. I don't need to name names, but they haven't posted here in a year or two.

esteban, it was.... two years or so ago. I'm pretty sure you were gone on one of your mystery hiatuses during that time.
