PC-FX beauty shot...
« on: June 10, 2005, 08:50:12 AM »
Just took this shot of my PC-FX last night while messing with HDR in Photoshop CS2.  This shot however is the untouched version...so what you are seeing is straight out of the camera (with careful composition and lighting of course).  I'd still like to create an HDR image of the PC-FX however I need to figure out how I can have more contrast in light/dark in the image since the PC-FX is so white to begin with (probably won't be able to do it but still going to try).

Wow! Makes it look a powerful tower in a winter city. Beauty, eh?

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

What a great looking console...

They just don't make 'em that cool looking anymore.
Games I Need: Bonk 3 (HuCard), Legend of Hero Tonma, Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, Super Air Zonk.

Got one to sell? PM me!

Yeah the PC-FX design totally kicks the PS3, X-Box 360, and Revolution's ass.

But nobody knows what Revolution will look like in its final form yet.  :)

It doesn't matter what it looks like...the PC-FX will look better anyways. :D

Anyone see those mockups of the Xbox before it was ever shown? Someone made a mockup of the console looking like a vacuum cleaner and the controller as a powerhead. Even before it came out, people already knew it was gonna...suck. :D

Very nice indeed! On the dots that go down the center of the wallpaper, there is a green and a red dot lit up; is it actually like that on a PC-FX when you turn it on? I see that those lights might be on the upper part of the dots, actually.

Glad you like Keranu!  Yes, there are green and red lights on the PC-FX (near the top) but in the design of the wallpaper, I didn't mean to place them exactly like the unit (wanted all of the design elements to be around the PC-FX logo...looked better that way).
