Jim Power cheat code

Didn't see this on any sites. Enter "WHOCHEAT" as the password. Then, once in the level, press and hold the fire button and select. It will reset the level, give 9 guys, and make you invincible. You can also walk through walls that you would normally be trapped if you couldn't die.

Hmm... I just tried several times and I can't get the code to work.  After entering "WHOCHEAT", the game says CHEAT MODE, then I press RUN or I to start the game; but in-game, holding II and Select just kills off my guy, taking away one life. Is there some other special trick to it?

It must have been something else besides entering the cheat code that enables it. I'll have to research further.

 Ok, I figured it out.

After putting in the cheat code/password and starting the game; once ingame press and hold select and then down. This will turn on invincibility. Holding select + pressing left turns if off. Holding select + pressing right skips right to the boss of that level.

Are you mad ???  [-X
PCE need redbook music to compense his poor psg processor ..
Graphics, animations, colors, scrolling are far better than PCE ...

Stop saying that PCE games are always better than all other 16 bit systems.

but I'm very certain about that arkahn would agree, that SotB looks so much far superior on the amiga than it does on any other system. graphic wise ;)

The fact remains that the PCE's redbook tunes are much better than those on the Amiga.  You may not care for the PCE's sound capabilities (though there are quite a few excellent tunes for it), but that's hardly relevant to a comparison of Jim Power's soundtrack.

Perhaps so.  Why don't you add some side by side screen shots to the thread listed below?

Instead of making blanket accusations and making yourself look like an ass, go read this thread.  There are numerous instances where the PCE version is deemed inferior to other ports.

Normal this game is designed for amiga capabilities, like dracula x, the pce version is the best 8/16 bit ever ..

But, on another topic some pce fans, prefers PCE version ..
This is the case on most games comparaison

did You realise that you compare CDA music with chip tune ???  =;
And redbook audios on pce for jim power and sotb, have not a large superiority.
For me redbook audios are out of competition, with soud ship comparaison.

This is the reason of my deseperate cry (i don't know the traduction of "coup de gueule"), i have read all this topic  [-(

Wow, I'd never seen the game before actually, but the first level music, at least in the amiga version - I definitely recognize the first melody from another PCE game. Dragon Slayer, maybe?
