Looking for a mint complete copy to replace my worn-down one, can anyone help me out?

Also wanting Ys III US Box and Cosmic Fantasy Box. Would also be interested in a mint complete Ys I&II with box and map. Help me!

There is a copy I'm bidding on currently up on e-bay. It might not be mint, but they say its in very good condition and it has the map. Last time I checked I was the high bidder at $27. I don't mind a little competition, though hopefully I don't have to eat those words

. Anyways its there and its the only alternative on e-bay to buying off that ass monkey Bullseye or Gamemaster Vintage games. Both of them are just asking too much.

Yeah, I saw that copy. I hate when people use generic terms to describe the condition of items, especially CDs. "Very Good" unfortunately doesn't explain a whole lot, especially on Ebay where "mint" and "perfect" are now apparently subject standards. Maybe I'm too anal when it comes to condition, but I don't want to buy another copy of the game unless I know it's perfect.

Yeah. I'm sick of getting "mint" games that have scratches. Sometimes it helps to simply ask every seller the specifics though.

I know what you mean, but I currently don't have a copy and wouldn't mind getting one a little less than perfect as long as it works. If it wasn't so late in the auction I would suggest asking, but you might not get a response in time. As it is I'm sure another "mint" copy will pop up in a few months. If you want I'll keep an eye out for one. I go to flea markets all the time where I live and find some pretty cool stuff. If I see one that looks to be mint I could pick it up for you. Heck I found a pristine copy of Popful Mail for the Sega CD for 10 bucks. The lady didn't know what it was apparently. So it isn't exactly impossible to find something like that at a flea market, just not likely.

Oh believe me, I do, and it seldom does any good. Probably the best indicator is feedback, but even that is misleading because I've been screwed by sellers with 100% feedback (though I don't think any had over 100 or so feedbacks) and you have someone like me that tries to describe things as accurately as possible and I have 4 negative feedbacks (all retaliation feedback from knuckleheads that rightly deserved it). Oh well, I guess there is no real answer, I just wish people would stop using quality standards liberally in order to make more money (fat chance right), and then when you call them on it they claim that was the condition in their opinion and even if they accept it back you're out shipping both ways.

Enough whining from me, someone sell me Dragon Slayer dang gone it!

I was in your shoes a few years back, that's how I bought my first copy of DS. The game worked and the price was right so I bought it so I could play it, but of course the collector in me has to have every game I like in complete and amazing condition. Nice find on Popful Mail, I don't think I've ever found anything worthwhile in the wild.
