Holy crap, I haven't listened to episodes 10 or 11 yet!

TUNING INTO WIBBLE BROADCAST.

For shame! Ep 11 is one of my faves because I just love the Power Drift soundtrack so much.

I listened to Ep 11 two and half times during my commute today. I was surprised by how much the first song reminded me of 80's dance/pop songs. When I heard the voice samples used in the song, I was convinced they were from a BASKETBALL game. No joke.

:)

Not sure how you link it with basketball! One of the samples is Brit comedian Harry Enfield's character Loadsamoney from a 1990s TV show. Never really liked him much myself but he was popular. Not sure where the others came from. I remember seeing and hearing the intro to Blood Money for the first time, .

Oh shit! I've been wondering about that song for 20 f*cking years, no joke. I never played the game itself but downloaded the song (possibly as a MOD?) from an Amiga BBS in 1990, or something like that. I put it on a cassette and listened to it about a million times.

The closest real life pop equivalent, IMO, is the Canadian group Kon Kan:
