I've been chiptunin' lately, learning to rip sample data from SNES games.

Strider 2 (the REAL strider 2) stg 1 with SNES Capcom samples

Covered PCE City Hunter first stage in MIDI

My number 1 favorite Megaman/Rockman BGM covered with MM7 instruments (and it's not the super hyped up Megaman 2 Wily Castle theme either...)

Override (stage 2) in 8-bit

And some non VG stuff
My condensed cover of Mylo's "Drop the Pressure" with SuperNES instruments

No, I don't have that EP. In fact, I didn't even know it existed.

Check your email.

I didn't see anything. I am sad :(.

I have been obsessed with the "Gran Turismo" album by The Cardigans. Pick any song from the album, I love them all. Some songs stuck on repeat: Paralyzed, Higher, Hanging Around, oh, who am I kidding, the have all been on repeat.

You should really pick up the Cardigan's first album, "Carnival". It's really good, and they do a great version of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Agreed. I love their first two albums (aka "Life" + debut). First Band on the Moon is not nearly as bubblegum yummy as the others, though.

I just checked and discovered that they released two albums after Gran Turismo. I am kinda worried that they won't be good.

Hmmmmm....

Lard is awesome. My introduction to Jello was actually through the Ministry/Pigface scene. I loved his stage speech during Ministry's "In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up" tour.

Yup :). When I was at university, all of this stuff was big. I should pull out some Front 242 and Revolting Cocks albums now. ;)

Well, I sent it to the gmail address you have listed here under your name, base.nectaris.usa@gmail.com. Is that the address you checked?

Yes.

UPDATE: Dude! It was in my spam box. That's odd. The good news is that I found it :). I've never had this happen before.

Bottom line--thank you :)

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Swimfail. Good stuff if you like industrial metal with a side of ambient and a sprinkling of 80s era video game music. :)
