Its extremely rare for me to watch dubbed/censored anime, basically unheard of for me to watch dubbed/censored shows I don't even like.

I "get" Sailor Moon. I know what a Magical Princess show is. All these little factoids you are dropping here, trying to explain that the transformation sequences are part of the genre, etc. I already know about all that shit. You aren't telling me anything I don't already know. It didn't start with Sailor Moon. There is nothing wrong with Sailor Moon. There is nothing wrong with Strawberry Shortcake, Hanna Montana, whatever. These are silly shows made to be fun for pre-teen virgin females. Its fine. I've seen the entire first season (in Japanese, hence not getting the boobies being "added later") of SM, and its harmless.
What's f*cked up is that straight adult men are fantasizing about f*ckING the characters in this show. The problem isn't the show, the problem is that you watch it, and it fills you with thoughts of statutory rape.
If you can't understand why your pederast mentality is disturbing to some people...well, watch what you say around cops. That's my only advice. Also, start looking at girls who have been having their period for more than just the last six months. You might be surprised.

Many of the common happenings of manga/anime do creep me out, but that wasn't my point. My point was that the more I try to explain that 12 year old girls are supposed to be sexually off limits to people like yourself, the more you explain how sexually arousing they are to you. Honestly, that stuff is less disturbing because its so fringe. There are always going to be a few hardcore perverts out there. Sailor Moon was one of the most popular shows in the world during its time, and from what I've seen at least half of the American fans had neck beards and mortgages. The Pedobear army!

I think this is partially true. I think some of these guys are trying to distract us from their lust for tween miniskirts by pretending to be ironically gross on the outside. Its a ruse. "Look at me!
