Please continue fighting with each other, although, personally, I wish you guys were fighting over PCE/TG-16 related stuff.

My head has almost exploded twice from reading this thread and I will refrain from replying here after responding to Zeta from 2 pages back.

Yeah, I'm too sick of Dragon Ball to actually enjoy watching it for at least another decade, but it truly was one of the greatest shows of all time.

I did end up picking up the dvd box sets of the series.  There's alot of ep's thruout that I missed, plus, alot of it was redubbed, it was especially nice to watch the Sayan thru Freeza saga's with the newer voice actors.  But, the filler stuff is irritating, they're actually fixing this in Japan with Dragon Ball Z Kai, where they are taking out the filler to more closely follow the manga.  I prefer filler material in the format that Naruto took, by having individual arcs of filler, rather then filler within each episode like DBZ!

DBZ used to piss me off in school when i was younger.   You wait all day to get home and watch it and all you get is 30 minutes of them screaming and powering shit up and then the announcer is like "WILL GOKU FINALLY LAUNCH THIS STUPID ATTACK OR WHAT!? FIND OUT TOMORROW ON THE NEXT DBZ!!!"


it was pretty annoying.  At least the DVDs dont have that issue. lol

Drag-on Ball.  They totally screwed up the pace for the anime.  I swear, each 20 minute show is probably worth about 2 pages of manga's fight scenes.  The manga, on the other hand, is absolutely brilliant.

And I just remembered NES Dragon Power all of a sudden.  Man, that game was bad.  I think a little part of me died when I found out the game's connection to Dragonball.

the DBZ manga is much better than the anime.   watching it in little 30 min eps. sucks on TV.



and the NES game aint TOO bad, for the time it was released its at least fun.... and a bit lost in translation
