There was a auction for a complete copy that ended a day earier too, did anyone catch what that one ended at?

$525

Considering the fact that Dynastic Hero is on the Virtual Console, I am somewhat surprised that it still selling for over $400.

There was a US manual that just sold right around the same time... disc could have been buffed to.

Yeah, I saw that manual sold.  My guess would be that he didn't post pictures of the manual because he may have bought that one that sold and it hasn't arrived yet.
All is well. :)

nvm,  funny he didnt make any money on it.  The manual had sold for $49.99 best offer.

I guess he didnt like the scratches and decided to sell and cut his losses.

Trying to decipher the mangled english almost sounds like the original didn't sell (well buyer may have backed out) due to the scratches?

What I got out of it was that someone asked if it was scratched and he told that person yes.  So that person told the high bidder which made them back out.  If that logic is true there would be no way for someone to know who the winner was to be able to tell them it was scratched.  My thoughts are that the high bidder saw this thread saying its scratched.  Of course this would all be speculation based on what he saidin his ad.

Not really. Its not like people who pay $400 for Dynastic Hero actually play these games.

Have you ever played KOF with someone who has a huge AES collection? Its pathetic.

That's a poor thing to say. Believe it or not, some people actually play the games they buy. I have a fairly sizable AES collection and I'll kick your ass at any of those games any day.

Honestly, I treat my games with respect and take good care of them. I'm pretty anal about it, but if I shell for a game I'm going to play it. It's about the gameplay first and formost.

Honestly, I have a deal pending on a nice complete Magical Chase. Damn, do I ever want to play that game! I won't play the rom though, that would be like cheating myself. Believe me, it's taken a long ass time to find a good one at the right price. When I slide the Hu into my system I'll be grinning from ear to ear.

I find my method of playing / collecting to be very rewarding. If you don't want to or can't afford to enjoy classic gaming on that level that's fine. Nothing wrong with it. Enjoy things on your own level. Just don't generalize someone like that for buying an expensive game.

He sent me a Second Chance Offer stating that if I didn't want it, he would relist it for $400 since he found the manual. I questioned him regarding the scratches and he responded that it was relisted.

Ignore Zeta; he's just bitter.  He'll never comprehend that some people may earn more than him and/or have a better grasp on their finances and be capable of saving towards a goal.
