Most of the time.  She sometimes gets jealous that I don't spend 100% of my free time with her.  Heck, I'd be jealous if I weren't always around me, too!  But since I got her Tetris for the GBA, she's been fine.

My gf will say "you should buy this game so we can play together," and I fall for it every time.  I get the game and she will play with me, for about 10 minutes and then never want to play again.  Then I am stuck with a bunch of games I would never buy and she will never play again...

Anyway, she let's me play a decent amount, but a few more hours a week would be great!

Sometimes.

For example, my brother got rid of his mint condition Sony Wega CRT and I told him "HELL YEAH!" I want it for my old consoles. My wife, however, doesn't understand why I don't prefer playing on the plasma/LCD TV's we have.

Sure, I've explained the reasons, but since we don't have room in our house for an extra CRT, she feels that I am being a bit too finicky.

My plan, though, is to put the CRT (which is currently in the garage) on a rolling cart in the guest room closet. Of course, the TV's been sitting in the garage for months now.

My GF tends to get annoyed whenever I get new stuff in the mail, but she's alright with my large collection and she occasionally plays games with me (we usually play Mario Party 6 on the GameCube).

it makes me laugh because people are like I REMEMBER PLAYIN THAT BACK IN THE DAY, MAN THAT WAS FUN.

and then I go "yeah I remember playing that 2 days ago because I still have my SNES, retard"

my wife is 100% supportive of my habit :P and actually looks at my want list and has found and ordered games for me without me knowing, on her own to boot!!!!!  also we do play together, but i have to set up a gaming TRAP  for her...

this is how it works....

1. Turn on the system with a game you think she would like but has said she does not want to try.
2. Get it all set up so all you have to do is push start.
3. Now walk away from the system, you suddenly have some stuff you have to do in the basement or you have to go to the corner store.
4. return with in 15-20mins and quickly make your way to the game console you left alone
5. If she took the bait you will now be able to comment on how good she is and mention there is a 2 player setting.
6. Enjoy the game together :P

now with her being prego'd she has not patient for anything, especially my gaming so i stand back at least 5 feet and agree to everything.

gaming survival!!!!

My wife was raised on Mario, Dragon Warrior, Zelda, etc.  & plus she tends to play games more often then I do!  So, yeah, she's fine with it.  I even got her into the Ys & Suikoden series.  She seems to be anxious about playing new games in those series!  She also loved Dragon Slayer: Legend of Heroes & wishes someone would translate the 2nd one! :D

I forgot to mention that my wife still can't resist Ms. Pac Man in the arcade. Neither can I.

:)

My grilfriend supports my habit. It's a pretty sweet deal for me as she buys me games regularly. In fact, she works in the videogame department at toys r us; that is part of what attracted me to her! lol. Yup. She owns the wii, with a bunch of games. She also has some retro stuff like toaster nes and oldskool gameboy.

My wife doesn't mind and will even play some occasional games.  Granted, I haven't made many mega-expenses lately, but that's mostly due to mortgage and interest more then the wife. ;)
