This seems like a good deal if any of you want it. Expensive shipping but still only $140 shipped. It's not mine and I don't want it personally but I figured I'd let you guys know about it since this is about half the price they usually go for.

Not a bad deal, but I don't need one. I do need a PCE+CDROM2 however, if you come across one :D .

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I would have considered going for this six months ago, but I'm happy with my PCE Duo. Interesting that he's using an import pad.

Looks like he's got Kaze Kiri and Panic Bomber running on there. What are the top screens? Cut scenes from Kaze Kiri?

What's up with the "vertical lines".... the sellers notes this, but perhaps D-Lite can tell us if this is a serious problem or not.

I have seen vertical lines before but I can't be sure what the problem is.  Could be a loose cable but that is more likely a problem with the drive.

From the time I worked with arcade machines and saw the same kind of issue, it's likely that it's heat damage to the video circuitry. It could be the cable used to connect to the TV though, but vertical lines like that, at least from the hardware I know well, is caused by overheating of components and the damage is usually permanent.

Agreed.  I work on arcade machines a little bit and that looks like what I usually get when the voltage is off or there are some bad chips (possibly ram?).  It's probably not voltage since you can't really adjust that with the console and I'm not familiar with the duo, but I bet that it's not very easy/practical to change out any ic's on the board.
