Wow! This should be very interesting to watch.  I will laugh if it sells for less than the $1800 bid he had before... then again if it sells for more than like $400 or $500 I will cry at the ridiculous price

Soon time to cry m8, it has reached $355   :-({|=

Who is bidding on these things? Seriously, who? If it's no one here, then it has got to be resellers.

Even if I did have that much cash "laying around"  I could sure find something MUCH better to spend it on!   #-o

I dont know who's bidding on them, but they've obviously got more money than sense!

My barriers have been gradually broken down. I used to think $100 was crazy for any game. Nowadays there are some games you just can't get for less than $300. Honestly, if I had it, I'd probably pay $2000 for Magical Chase. Nerdy as is may be, that game is a technological marvel, and I understand it's pretty fun too!

OK, yes, there are probably more productive things to spend the money on. But seriously, if someone has the money and desire, who cares?

Or if you're really just interested in playing the game, you can pick up the PCE copy a LOT cheaper.  I think I paid $70 or $80 for my PCE copy....loose huey but hey it plays the same.  The level one background graphics can keep their $1730 premium!  [-(

That's fair, and I'll probably pick up a PCE copy long before I get the TG16 version. Regardless, I'd like to own the TG16 version. Honestly, I haven't even found an "alternative" means to play this game.

ETA: I'd really like to not be banned.

I looked at the history of the first bidder and his only ebay purchases were video games so he was either a collector or reseller.

Isn't it on VC? If I didn't already have the TG-16 version, I'd rather buy a flash catd and the PCE version for a fraction of what peoplecare considering to spend on MC. With flashcards available and the collector prices of MC, there's no way people can justify buying a Turbo MC because ofca genuine interest in the game. Thwy're
