I would pay $49.99 +tax for MC.  I didn't back in the day since I got 3 games for that price.  I would pay that price now, but that's as far as I'd go. 

Seriously though it's just sad that this game is so sought after.  I like the game but there's so many more games I'd rather play.  One more reason I didn't get MC back in the day.  I got Lords of Thunder, Valis III, and Neutopia II instead.  Also if I didn't buy Sapphire when it first came out I sure as shit wouldn't be spending the money that it goes for today.  It's a great game everyone should play, but there are better games to play on the PC-Engine.

we'd all love to pay $50 for the game.. but unfortunately i seriously doubt thats every going to happen, have been watching whats going on with stadium events for nes, cant believe the insane prices that game is getting.. $1000 for magical chase seems like nothing compared to 41k for stadium events!!! insane..
