As oddities, they're somewhat cool goodies now; back in the day, I can't imagine anyone being impressed or excited by such tame promotional items (yay, cheap sunglasses, stickers, and a frisbee!).  I suppose this little package aptly sadly sums up the Turbo's US marketing and why it was doomed to failure.  :|

Cool now, definately.  I agree with you though about back in the day it not being very impressive.  I can't see myself saying "Damn now that I have this frisbee, I must have a Duo!" back then.

Ok toooooo funny.  Who actually tried to bid up the promo stuff to see if I actually bid it up to $250 and then retracted their bid?  C'mon now, I had only bid it up to $52.00..   :lol: :lol: :lol:  I dunno what bothers me most, the fact that you think I'm stupid/rich enough to pay that much for a frisbee or the fact that whoever did it is that gullible....   [-(
