yeah I use a telegames converter and sometimes it takes a few times to get it to work.  I have the same amount of trouble if its my arcade pro or a regular pce hu card.  its just the way it goes with a third party part.  If it really bothers you get a mod.

Mine has the web address of telegate.co.uk on it, but looks exactly like a Mirai converter. The label is even the same.

As for modding my system, I would rather keep it original if possible.

yeah I think that mines the same. and yes I agree, I want everything original.  I myself gave myself two options.  one is to buy another basic tg system that I would mod so I would have one original and one modded.  Thats kinda stupid though.  the other is, I know my tg16/cd system will eventually break(cd part)  so I think Im going to buy a japanese duo rx so I can play turbo hu s  on the tg16 and play all japanese hu s and all cds on the duo r.  That way I wont continue to wear out the tgcd and I wont need a converter.  Cause I know Ill feel like shit when the cd breaks.

Agreed! I think the Duo-R is the sexiest system out of the three Duos available in Japan. My CD-ROM attachment will bite the dust someday. So, a Duo-R will be in my distant future. Unless, someone here wants to donate one

Also, does anyone know if the PCE Arcade Card is compatible with this type of converter? I have heard the Arcade Card can have issues with some converters.

That's the type of converter that I have, and I have no troubles using my Arcade Card.  Well, no troubles excepting usual converter finickiness and having to reseat HuCards often.

Do you mean "reseat" the hu card in the converter? Or reseat the converter in the Turbo? Or both?
