Thanks for sharing the neato video.  What were all those unlabeled Lynx carts - demos, prototypes, boots, homebrews, or what?

all of the above- the dude that owns them buys pretty much everything that he can get his hands on Lynx related.  I'm not even sure what his name is (Lynx guy), but his son (Kevin) and my boys get along pretty well.  We meet up every year at MGC and the kids play pretty hard!

Great video, turboStar! I'm gonna have to make it next year no matter what.

Yeah I don't know his name either, but I talk to him whenever I'm at the MGC and he's really cool. He's gotta have the biggest Lynx collection, even though he says he's not sure. The Lynx table has always been one of my favorite attractions.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

The dude's pretty hardcore, eh?  The Little Handheld That Could has some lovely gems and a pretty healthy homebrew scene, so he picked a good system to champion.

I bought a copy of Zaku from him.

The guy's name who owns the Lynx collection is Tom Legare.

Hey guys- I think the R-Type winner's name was Josh. The Turbo table was definitely the area with the most traffic. People tend to gravitate toward the cool stuff...

It's kind of funny how the show was mostly Atari themed, yet the little toaster that could (NEC) in the back corner, stole the show. Everything worked out far better than expected. With 2 or 3 tournies happening at the same time, it was hard to predict how many would show up to my booth for my tournies. Fortunately, us Turbo guys always stick together. :)

We should definitely start planning Turbo Fest 2K11. The feedback I got from this Turbo Fest really got me pumped up!!

The winner of the R-Type tourney was indeed a member of this forum. Congrats to him, he really put on a good show for us.

yup, thats me! i had fun getting to meet everyone and hangin' out for the afternoon.  I will definitely be there next year, and i will definitely be participating in the tournaments again!  The turbo seemed to be the clear attention getter at the show, although that dude with the circuit bent c64 was pretty awesome!

currently playing:
PCE - Raiden
SNES - Chrono Trigger
DC - Fast Striker

Thanks for that suggestion, we'll keep that in mind. I think that Battle Lode Runner and Bomberman should definitely be tournament games again. They are insanely fun games with five people.

Ok, so early planning for TF 2k11 is underway.  Looking at possibly doing The video Game summit again AND Midwest Gaming Classic in March.  Would anyone be willing to help out?

By helping out, really we'd just need people to come in and play games with people that maybe aren't familiar with the Turbo World.  Could also bring in systems/ TVs/ games/ etc for play during the event.

PM's to myself, DragonMasterDan, Chany60126, or Keranu if your interested.
