Looking for some Turbo CD games
« on: May 31, 2010, 03:24:31 PM »
Guys I am getting back into Turbo collecting and just got a duo so I am looking for some Turbo CD games.

Mine is a PC Engine Duo, so I can play PCE games (which i want shooters since I can't read japanese)

As for CD games I am looking for the following:

Exile
Exile Wicked Phenomenon

Gates of Thunder
Lords of Thunder
Dracula X
Vasteel
Last Alert
Any other games you guys think are good.

I only have the following so far: Loom, Y's I & II, Y's III, Dragon Slayer, Prince of Persia

thanks for the help
I can buy or have other console stuff for trade

I recommend Image Fight (hucard) and Image Fight II (Super CD) if you don't already have them!

If you like shooters I recommend Spriggan on CD-ROM2. They sometimes run for less than $50 complete. One of the best (if not BEST) shooters for any system.

Spriggan is def a killer game (and can be had $30-40 with patience).  Spriggan 2, while a fun game pales compared to the first... by a LOT.

Spriggan's a definite must, but Nexzr or Nexzr Special (Summer Carnival '93) should take even higher priority. The only difference between the two is that Nexzr Special is missing the cut-scenes, but it has two 'special' bonus games (timed and score). Nexzr Special is normally cheaper and easier to find as well, but Nexzr's price seems to be leveling out as of late.

New Adventure Island/TAKAHASHI MEIJIN NO SHIN BŌKEN JIMA is also a must.
