ah shit, not more of this.... REALLY.
OK, Ark, he has a right to have issue, Roy trying to make a (extra) buck (or two (hundred)) off of a Homebrew title that is still readily available, is shady dealings worthy of being blackballed as a seller. Also the means by which he came across this "collectible" version of the game makes the whole issue underhanded. So Arkhan, has a right to be upset and in traditional Arkhan style, does it through a series of out of control outbursts and insults. I think we have all seen this acouple of times before, its no shock. In fact, its expected really. Should we tolerate it (personally, I don't care one way or that other, its part of his odd charm to me), thats up for debate at another time, in another place, still, its no suprise.
Now, Roy, yeah OK, your getting a house that you decided to buy in a week (which I will say is the perfect amount of time to make such a life alteringly huge decision). Thats all well and good but you should have thought before you acted and if you did think before you acted then accept the consequences of your decision. It seems that there is nothing you can say to salve this wound. You have bitten this community twice and in such a business driven (so to speak) community, like this one, that may have been one to many bites. You unabashedly are unconcerned with what you did, you feel justified. Thats fine, stop trying to smooth it over and just let the (Hu)cards fall where they will and move on.
A large portion of this community have spoken as to what they think, that doesn't make there opinions an answer, just a guide. Personally I always enjoyed your comments but as a person developing games for this community I am at a loss as to what to think of it. I'm not making games for people to buy houses with, I just want to make a game people are going to enjoy an treasure as much as I do my Turbo games.
I for one, won't be participating in the contest, I don't have a copy of Insanity....
