Roy Vegas is the high roller type. The guy who, like many, somehow, equates owning a bunch of horrifically overpriced TG-16 crap with being a baller. Having three sealed copies of Darkwing Suck is like rolling on dubs for this guy.
He pretty much has said that because he got butt raped by insane eBay prices for the shit he bought, that he deserves to screw people on the other end when it sells it off. Its the whole "don't hate the player, hate the game" bullshit, and any true capitalist lives, dies, and kills by this school of though. Force majeure, anything that makes money is inherently moral. I expect nothing less. In fact, I expect more, much more, when he sells off the rest of his collection of cardboard boxes and shrink wrap.
What I don't get is why anyone else here expected anything else, why you expected the Master P of TG-16 to sell you guys games at a loss. That's kind of baffling.
Aside from all this though, completely and totally separate...the thing with Insanity is pretty f*cking disgusting. People who are decent human beings just don't so that kind of thing. R. Vegas has pretty much always made me sick, but I thought he at least had some tact or decorum. Most scum do since it helps them fit in better with decent human beings and lets them function within society as if they belonged. I guess I gave him too much credit.
I don't think he should be banned, but I do question why the hell he would even want to hang around now that everyone's opinion of him is as low as mine always was.
I imagine him going to whatever corner of the internet now houses Michael Helgeson and battling it out in some sort of cyberspace equivalent of the Phantom Zone, gouger versus righteous zealot, for all eternity.
I was going to insert a cool animated gif of the Phantom Zone here from Superman 1979, but I couldn't find one.
