anyone else see another possible video game crash in the near future? :(

Why the frowny face? A crash in this sense would be awesome. These insane prices are for retro stuff only, the mainstream game industry is doing just fine. A crash would mean prices across the board would come back down again. The downside would be a lot less stuff for sale. It's these high prices that are causing people to dig through their closets and get some of this stuff out on the market.

If you thought a $275 BIN on a Super System 3.0 card was bad, then how about this $375 BIN one;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-System-Card-Ver-3-0-COMPLETE-USA-VERSION-/270966944393?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f16e37289
I'll throw a $100 offer at him.  I think that's reasonable.  As for it being MINT CONDITION I would have to disagree.  Check out the thumb crud on the insert arrow.

[EDIT] He countered at $300 with a note saying, "It's extremely rare, what is the highest you will pay for the item?" to which I replied, "It is not rare, eBay sellers just assume it is. I have already sent you my highest offer. FYI, there has been a Super System Card 3.0 relisted multiple times on eBay for $275 BIN. It has never sold, and never will. My offer is the same."

I agree on a crash only because people are getting tired of paying $60 for a game only to see that same game for $30 a few months later. NOT every game released is worth big money and i will only dish out that much for games like Zelda or a God Of War game. But again to each their own.

True. But, I believe that will send a better message. If sellers receive tons of realistic offers for what games and consoles are worth it may make a difference. I may be being too optimistic here but what's there to lose?

Nothing, I'm sure others have, no reason not to. There are enough people here to go around, you just wanna take away my fun! ;)

A Duo (which has a built in 3.0 system card) is less than $300.

Dear megahit79,

Good luck on your manual sale, someone got the game and the manual for almost half of what you are charging. http://www.ebay.com/itm/110897589611?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Trust me I'm done with this idiot. I'm half tempted to just use my bad ass copier copier at work and make a bunch of repros and sell em on ebay for .99 a piece. :P

Ah, an old favorite, Jay/megahit79, with his lucky "$30,000 dollar" lottery of a SNK cart! Didn't think the subject would go back to him any time soon. It seems his sale price is down to $240 from $300, so we've had some kind of an effect on his pricing. Very stubborn fella, though! ;)

Looked up his "Neo Turf Masters" reference.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neo-Turf-Masters-Neo-Geo-AES-Great-Condition-Fast-Shipping-Us-Version-/251004364237?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item3a7106a5cd#ht_500wt_969

$19,999.93 normally, but if you hurry, you can get it on sale for $15,999.94!!!! Wow! Don't most people hate golf games ? I'm not sure I ever met anyone that likes them to be honest. ;)
