Looked up his "Neo Turf Masters" reference.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neo-Turf-Masters-Neo-Geo-AES-Great-Condition-Fast-Shipping-Us-Version-/251004364237?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item3a7106a5cd#ht_500wt_969

$19,999.93 normally, but if you hurry, you can get it on sale for $15,999.94!!!! Wow! Don't most people hate golf games ? I'm not sure I ever met anyone that likes them to be honest. ;)

Maybe Nintendo Golf just because its got annoying sounds to piss off your significant other. :P Yeah, he also said he paid $500 for it so thats like a 30x markup point sheesh. You should see what he is charging for Samurai Ghost:

Here's my conversation with the syscard goober:

Starting Price - $356.25 BIN
Me: $100 offer - "The last two copies sold for $150 with Gate of Thunder and $285 with a complete TG-CD system and Gate of Thunder, so you're waaaaay off on price for just a 3.0 syscard.'
Gouger: $350 counter offer - "Then you don't want it that bad, and someone else will pay for it."
Me: $93.75 counter offer - "Nope, I sure don't want it so bad that I'll pay three times what it's worth. But who knows - fools sometimes attract other fools, and you know what they say about fools and money."
Gouger: declined
Me: $90.00 counter offer - "It looks like my previous offer was in error. Seeing as this system card is missing the sleeve (is that a frickin' baggie?!?), it cannot be considered 'like new' or in 'mint condition', so I've lowered my price accordingly. Wish me luck!"
Gouger: $300 counter offer - "It's not missing a sleeve or anything. Everything is in perfect condition."
Me: declined (I can't make more counter offers) - "Your pictures tell a different tale, as no sleeve is shown & the HuCARD & case appear in need of cleaning. I don't know what kind of nickle bag you've imprisoned that system card, but I know it's not the proper vinyl sleeve it originally was shipped."

And now I've exhausted my allowed offers.  Damn.  'Twas fun while it lasted.

Dear schmuckofni,

It is worth this price sold two in the last year plus we have a staff of experts that price all items at www.megahitvideogames.com with over 20 plus years in the videogame business
thanks jay

"The videogame business". Not developing or publishing or retail sales... or playing and appreciating games... just flipping items and price fixing. It's all just business to them, telling people they buy from how worthless their goods are and then turning around and hyping it to all 133t collectors. "Staff" sounds like a lot. If it's at least five people, that's a good four years each. No wonder they're experts on not selling things.

I still can't believe how these a$$holes actually try to justify their prices, but then turn around and brag about ripping people off for massive profit.

I sell to stores once in a while, and I love the "Well that system has really nose dived lately..." and try to convince you they are doing you a favor by taking it for anything.

One guy offered me a whopping $20 for a boxed chrono trigger and I asked him what he would sell it for...he said $200, right after he said the virtual console has really killed the market.
These guys all feed of each other in terms of driving prices up.
Same store had GameCube metroid prime for $70.

I went ahead and did it too. I wonder when he will figure out that no one is going to pay his prices?

I didn't realise the Samurai auction was his also.  That makes perfect sense though.  Ha!  He's relisted it quite a few times already.

Does it cost anything to relist an item over and over like that?
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

Nope, as long as the item don't sell he won't get charged. He gets the 1 listing fee but after that he can relist as many times as he wants.

I recently won an auction for Samurai Ghost at $39-

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/190677573793?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

An auction, where everyone was free to bid as much as they are willing to pay, in which last minute irrationally high bids are easy to make.

Um no, I got mine loose for around $20. I feel sorry for the poor bastard who paid that much for that game.
