Yeah I can see people trying to overcharge for what they think is a really rare game, but $150 for two extremely common games? What's next, SuperMario/Duckhunt loose for $59.99, BIN $74.99?

Is he that stupid and ignorant of current prices for those games which are going to show up in searches right alongside with his listing OR is he that much of an a$$hole hoping to find a sucker willing to pay that much? I guess his response, "Next time you see me overpricing something, don't be so helpful. I don't know you and don't value your opinion." indicates the latter... He's in the megahit79 column.

Here is his latest reply.

I am not ignorant and you are not trying to be helpful. Your advice is self serving. I have had these games in my posession for over 20 years. If they sell that's fine, if not that's fine too. I am happy either way.
Thanks,
the3trajes

And my last response.

Look fella, I was trying to be helpful..  Not self serving.  I already have these games, so how is it self serving?  Read here for more info on how high a price you are asking is. https://www.pcenginefx.com/forums/index.php?topic=8477.2490  Or, do not read it and stay ignorant.  Yes, ignorant.  Cause someone that is not, would want to learn what something is worth, and is open to suggestion, which is certainly not yourself.  Learn to search before you try to sell.  And learn to take advice, and furthermore...just learn something, you ignorant little man.  Also, learn to spell possession.  Maybe if your first response to me was not so rude, I wouldn't have said for you to remain ignorant..  But, looks like I hit the nail on the head though.

Fighting Street came out in '89, right?  Maybe the dumbf*ck is averaging.... more likely he's full of shit and hasn't owned 'em for even a year.

You should've just posted some current eBay links to the games and that's about it... LOL @ his, "Your advice is self serving." Not when the user is an eBay search away from finding the same items for pennies on the dollar compared to what this jag is asking!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Street-Fighter-2-II-Dash-NEC-PC-Engine-HuCard-Japan-/ - $9.99

http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Fighting-Street-TurboGrafxCD-1989-/ - $17.99 (though, upon a 2nd look, this one does point to a Japanese copy)

So I guess I'm wrong, he is stupid and ignorant (still an a$$hole though). He didn't do a pre-search to see how much they're already going for.

Completed eBay sales of SFII' CIB are almost all $10 - $12. I saw one listing for Fighting Street, which failed to sell for $18. So $30 would be more than what eBay shoppers are currently willing to pay. Hopefully other ignorant sellers don't use his asking price as a basis to put up similar lots for $300+.

No one is going to relax until they see some senseable pricing happening. These jerks are cashing in and artificially inflating prices to something we love and hold dear.
