When I first saw it it was at $9999, so he's probably taking a loss on it now.  :lol:

I'm fairly certain its the guy over at NA that bragged that he bought that one huge lot that had it and a bunch of other high value games. This ebay was around 70-85% of a full set of hueys. (I think he got it for like, $6-9k, its been a while... you guys probably remember that lot) Anyway, he sold off the rest of it to pay for most of MC. He was really excited that he had a TG16 fullset. His avatar was a picture of the Magical Chase box. I'm pretty sure it was sometime between October and December of 2012. Anyway, fast forward a year, and I guess he decided having a $5000 paperweight sitting on the shelf wasn't providing him any more joy, so now its for sale on eBay and NA.
Hey, you.

$350+ for Rayxanber III?  That seems outrageous to me, even sealed.  I'm no PCE expert though so if I'm wrong, tell me.

Everything that seller posts is extremely overpriced. I've bought many games from japan that were sealed and weren't even advertised as being sealed. I don't think the Japanese care about sealed games like collectards in the west do.

orange-gold painted huey door for $60

Official? What's with that color and the price? Is it a OEM door for a 24K Gold TurboDuo?

Lordy, that is frickin' ugly.

The Japanese are smart. They realize games are for playing not sitting on a shelf collecting dust in shrink wrap

I found this one amusing;

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turbo-Grafx-16-system-New-Gold-Plated-connector-gold-plate-a-v-cable-bundle-/271375545452?pt=Video_Games&hash=item3f2f3e346c

Price is not a big gouge, but it's overpriced for sure.  Mind you it includes gold!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know exactly when, but games in japan used to NOT be shrink wrapped and used stores would wrap used games! Probably to guarantee everything doesn't fall out! But now in the disc copy ale era they are sealed now.
